House Rules We want Casa Luzia to feel like a home away from home, & these rules just help us keep it that way for all guests and hosts and keep the good vibes going 😊☮️. 🪪 Who's Staying The primary guest must be 25+ and present for the full stay. We'll do a quick ID check at check-in, just a formality to keep everyone safe. 🔇 Quiet Hours (10pm–8am) Our neighbors are wonderful and we'd like to keep it that way. Please keep noise down overnight. Exterior cameras help us monitor for compliance, so we can always step in quickly if something needs attention. 🎉 No Events, Parties, or Filming Casa Luzia is for you and your group to relax, not for hosting outside guests or productions. Unauthorized events will end your stay without a refund. 🚭 Smoke-Free, Always No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, inside or out. Any evidence of it (smell, ash) results in add'l $500 deep-cleaning fee. We know most guests won't need this reminder, but we ask everyone to help us keep the home smelling fresh for the next family. ✨ No Glitter, Confetti, or Spray Tans These are surprisingly hard (and costly) to fully clean out of fabric, walls and flooring. If they show up, a specialized cleaning fee applies of additional $500. Please use makeup towels to remove cosmetics and not the white towels. 🛠️ Take Care of the Space We've put a lot of love into Casa Luzia and trust our guests to treat it like their own. Any damage beyond normal wear will be billed at repair cost, including labor and any lost bookings while we fix it. 🏊 Pool & Spa Safety The pool and spa are all yours to enjoy, just please supervise kids at all times. Use is at your own risk, and we've added sound alarms on all sliding doors for extra peace of mind. ⚠️ Due to the Coachella Valley’s frequent gusty winds, please ensure all umbrellas are closed and laid flat when not in use to prevent accidents and property damage. 🌬️ 🐶 Traveling with Pets? We love welcoming pets! Fee is $150 for one, $250 for two (processed through the resolution center for lower fees), covering the extra cleaning that comes with furry guests. If you're planning to bring a service animal, please note we're still required to charge for any pet-related cleaning or damage, and one of our team members has allergies, so a quick heads-up in advance really helps us prepare. ❄️ CLIMATE & COMFORT AC in all bedrooms and living areas, controlled by the thermostat in the dining room. Game room and garage are not air-conditioned, portable fans are provided, these spaces can get warm during desert summer heat, especially June–September Keep doors and windows closed when AC is on to minimize desert dust; Regular pest control maintained, seal food and close doors to minimize critters 📅 Cancellations Please review our cancellation policy before booking, and we always recommend travel insurance with property damage protection for peace of mind. They are relatively inexpensive and gives you peace of mind.
